Joo Yeon Sir - Acclaimed Korean-born British violinist Joo Yeon Sir has performed with Royal Philharmonic, London Philharmonic and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestras and at venues including Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, and at St. James’s Palace for HRH The Prince of Wales. On completing her studies with Dr. Felix Andrievsky, she received Royal College of Music President’s Award. Her two recital CDs (Rubicon Classics) with her pianist Irina Andrievsky have been featured on BBC, Scala Radio, RTE and Radio France. Joo Yeon was recently invited back to her alma mater Purcell School of Music as Violin Teacher and plays on Matteo Goffriller violin kindly provided by Georg von Opel.
